Today marked the launch of Digital Explorer:
Digital Explorer is an Academy for Exploration that uses technology to engage young people in global issues. The event was celebrated with a live video lesson between explorers in the Amazon rainforest and students in London Zoo.
Digital Explorer was one of the first brands we developed as an agency and we have particularly enjoyed the opportunity to help it evolve over the last few years, from printed material to online translation.
We are collaborating with Digital Explorer’s Founder Jamie Buchanan-Dunlop on number of exciting educational projects so look out for more updates.

Nadour is a new contemporary Arab and Iranian art collection launching this week at the prestigious Art Dubai. We have been busy creating the Brand ID and interim holding page.
This promises to be a really exciting project where new artworks are showcased online each week. Stay tuned for the full site launch in April.

Abdulnasser Gharem Website:
Abdulnasser is a Saudi Arabian artist who we had the pleasure of getting to know during the Edge of Arabia exhibition in the Brunei gallery in September 08. He has the unique position of being a Major in the army as well as conceptual artist. His work is very stripped back, honest and raw and we wanted the site to reflect this.
Rather than just duplicating his artwork on the home page we felt it would be more interesting to make graphic representations of key elements and symbols from his projects such as ‘the path’, and ‘no more tears’. This involved interesting typographic experiments blending English characters with Arabic (using the actual stamps used in the artworks)
It was admittedly a little nerve-wracking presenting an artist with alternative versions of his work but happily he loved the concept and went as far a describing it ‘as an artwork in itself’ which is about as much as we could have hoped for.

NET-A-PORTER Wishlist
The new Wish list allows users to create custom shopping lists to which they can drag and drop their favorite products. Once completed lists can be printed out or emailed to a friend. Chosen items can then be dragged to a shopping bag to purchase.
We worked for over a year with the NET-A-PORTER team to create the Wishlist, after which we were asked to create this video showing visitors how it can be used.
