We were asked to create a brand, website and printed collateral for tour operators Natural High that would embrace the explorative spirit and inspire visitors to experience the wilderness for themselves.
Natural High offers imaginative travel to wild places in Africa and beyond. The company prides itself on seeking out the inspirational, the unique and the eclectic to create exceptional journeys. One Darnley Road was asked to create a unique identity that would stand out in the market of wilderness travel. The identity needed to be bold and work effectively across web and print.
The final visual environment solution, currently being rolled out, incorporates brand guidelines, website, stationery, press ads and exhibition display. In our approach to the website, we wanted to avoid the dry, geographic approach taken by most travel sites and focus more on the experiences that make those journeys memorable. We created a full-screen slideshow to place the visitor in a frozen moment in time in various wild locations.
Each of these ‘experiences’ are accompanied by valuable insights into the location, where to stay, and what travellers need to know, all purpose-written by Natural High’s team of experts. Visitors to the site can browse or filter by country, activity or time of year to find the right trip for them. The site’s full CMS ensures that fresh experiences can be added at any time, keeping visitors interested and in the know. The site also includes a rich library of FAQs, articles and blog entries.
