This London-based, independent creative agency not only wanted a website refresh, they wanted to boldly reposition the brand message to reflect their evolving services as Brand Experience experts. Key to redesigning the website was deepening the client and visitor experience with compelling, bespoke case studies, video, and the core integration of D&P’s clear brand identity, hands-on creative processes and strong teamwork ethic.

Established in 1983, Dalziel & Pow work with a wide range of clients internationally from lululemon to Boots to Volkswagen. Based in Clerkenwell, London’s design nerve centre, they are a creative agency specialising in brand experiences, both online and in physical spaces. As they say themselves: “We create the most engaging brands in the world through our approach to brand experience. We’re experts in Strategy, Branding, Environments and Digital Experience.”

We wanted to emphasise their compelling creative processes, showing what makes them unique as an agency. In particular we were impressed by their hands-on approach, and chose to represent this by offering a glimpse behind the scenes at their workflow—capturing how they get from moodboards to 3D environments, illustrating the know-how and human touch that carries projects successfully to delivery.

Because their work is not just about finished products, but environments and experiences that people walk through or dive into online, we were keen to capture this dynamic aspect of their output by allowing for versatility in the presentation of case studies. To do this we ensured that templates are adaptable and offer multiple options, including custom brand colours, graphics and layout options.

Video was another key element, not only for sharing their creative processes, but also for showcasing their positive work culture, inspiring office environments and team dynamics. To do this we used video to weave storytelling throughout the site, bolstered by animated patterns and unconventional layouts to show personality and creativity.

Client and visitor outreach was important to get right for this site, and while the existing news section was strong, it needed an uplift and clearer organisational structure. What we’ve done allows for better curation, greater signposting of current items, and the inclusion of videos to support bigger stories. As part of this we’ve established a system they can use to promote leading news, videos and op-pieces with complementary colours and patterns.
